What Vehicle Do You Drive

2002 Jeep Sahara----toooooo much fun!!!

Loving this site and much appreciate all of those contributing to its development. Will definitely stay closer in touch with it, and hope to see folks soon. After almost 40 years with the State Farm Companies, entered a much more "fun" chapter of my life...namely the occupation known as "Retirement" effective 6-1-09.

Life is good, and am blessed well beyond my deserving over the years; continue to be. Wished I could have made it to the most recent get-together. Hope to get out there to the next one.

School Story:

It was the greatest two years I could have wished for. Went to three high schools, starting in Riverside, California; then in Murfreesboro, Tennessee and then for my Junior & Senior years at Cooper in Abilene. At that point, being anywhere for two consecutive years would have been good, but my memories (ALL of them) of Cooper and all the fun are very fond. I particularly remember some of the get-togethers, etc at Ft Phantom Lake...those "fellowship" events were loads of fun as best as I recall. Those of you spending time out there will remember what I'm talking about.

David, I'm sincerely saddened to hear of your beloved wife's passing recently/ I'm sorry. Losing loved ones, whether they be parents, siblings, children, spouses or close friends...all involve such hard "duty" and feelings of ones we will all miss. We will remember you and your family in our prayers, as you are comforted by the Touch of the Master's Hand.

So sad to hear of Steve's passing; such a significant loss not only to the world of music and creativity, and of course his family, but a loss of a genuinely gifted individual.  I recall Steve's "smarts" in High School, but also having a sense of wit...but always someone that I stood in sorta awe of because of his God-given gifts. RIP Steve, and we thank you for using the special gifts you were provided to make the world better because of you being in it.

My youngest daughter, Lauren (age 15). This is what's keeping me young at heart, although not in my looks (my hair was white long before Lauren).

Ahhh...the conclusion of a great summer! I'm in the middle, surrounded by cousins who like me recently retired (but doubt any of us will stay that way long).

Just have a laugh! This video was made for that.
Life is too short for taking this video seriously.
Enjoy your birthday and have fun. Cheers!
