Samuel E. Cockerell 1947 - 2021

Tye - Samuel E. Cockerell took his last ride February 3, 2021 at the age of 73.

A memorial will be scheduled at a date to be announced under the direction of Cody Cochran at Bethel Assembly Church in Anson, Texas.

Sammy was born November 11, 1947 in Breckenridge, Texas to Everett and Louise Cockerell.

Sammy's life was being a cowboy. He worked on many ranches, loved to rope, was a horse trader and cattle buyer. No one loved life more than Sammy. He was quite a character and had a heart as big as he was. Sammy graduated from Cooper High School in 1966.

Sammy was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Hubert and Donnie Cockerell.

Sammy is survived by a nephew Lance Cockerell, aunts, uncles, cousins and more friends than you could count.

Memorials may be sent to Bethel Assembly Church- 101 Commercial Ave. Anson, Texas 79501.
