Shocking news! I did not know Rick was having health issues. Will always remember the fun times with Rick while we were playing basket ball at Cooper. Never a dull moment with Rick around! He had a way of making practices bearable. Rest in peace friend.

Rick and I were friends from Austin Elementary thru Madison Junior High and into CHS..... he, Mark McDaniel and I often teamed with Mac Rauch to provide our own brand of humor, often unappreciated by our mentors and coaches....AND our parents..... his passing, while sad, is another indication that we are on the back 9 so forget our minor differences about politics and religion and other trivial matters... and finish the round with friends and be ready to party on the 19th hole..... RIP my old friend.....

Rest in peace, Ricky.  Yes, I do remember all those good times with Rick at basketball practice and the games.  He will be truly missed.
