Senior trip to Viet Nam, served two tours with river patrol forces in the Mekong river delta, Came home and worked for Paymaster feeds for 20 years, Self employed welder for 5years, then began ranch manager for Oak Canyons Ranch south west of Tuscola Texas, am still there part time, am enjoying retirement, Still riding my horses and enjoying my two grandchildren, girl 13, boy 11. Imagine me married to the Sophmore and Junior English teacher at Wylie High School , Linda Davis, for the past 33 years. Thru my birth right as Comanche Indian I have became an adopted great grandson of Quanah Parker and have been highly involved with his family over the past 20 plus years. I have also been honered with being inducted into The Comanche Little Ponies organization, a warior society honering their veterans. I often am invited to speak at various events around the Texas, Oklahoma areas about the Parker Family and or the comanches in general. For the past few years I have also been invited to speak/preach at several trail rides and some cowboy churches in our area as well. I tell you this not as a braggin tool, but to let you know that we are not in control of ourselves as we might think, For those of you who knew me, you might remember that I would rather take a zero than to get up in front of the class and give a book report or anything else, after high school theres no telling how many times i stated that you would never catch me up front at church leading singing or preaching. So I've learned that its not up to me when the Lord has a plan, I intend to spend the rest of my time on this earth trying to please him and enjoying whats in store for the rest of my journey.
