We have lived in Ft Worth TX and in Abilene. Had two children, and 3 grandchildren, and 4 Great Grandchildren; worked for others and been self employed, and now we are both retired, after long careers in banking. He worked in banking for 24 years and I worked in banking for 31 years. We love to travel and go on cruises. We have been all over the place, but always look forward to coming back to Abilene. There is no place like home! We bought a home in the country in September, 2001, and absolutely love it! We have one dog and 2 cats and 4 ducks and all kinds of other creatures that lurk outside in the dark. Hobbies include traveling, shopping, looking for antiques, going to auctions, reading, gambling every once in a while, watching TV, exercising at the health club, and taking an occasional nap on Sunday afternoon.

I drove a 1964 Mustang and one day 3 friends and I decided to paper someone's yard....can't remember whose...anyway we went to the store and bought lots of rolls of toilet paper and put them in my trunk. That Saturday morning my mother needed to borrow my car to go buy groceries....when she got back to the car to put them in the trunk, there was no room because of all the toilet paper! I remember getting in pretty much trouble over that one....

I still keep in touch with Sherri Giddens Collins, Betty Harbor Raughton, and Idoma Wilson Bush...we still get together every few weeks for lunch!

Slumber parties and sleep overs... Tri Hi Y parties at YMCA, football games, beautiful mums!

Hours on hours of driving in circles around Mack's...pink cookies, brownies, those square burgers, and cherry cokes!
