Mark Radzinski,
Thanks for getting this web site off the ground..so many of these hound dogs are just putting in minimal information...I want some dirt on you people...tell it all, brothers and sisters....it cannot be that bad...

Mark,
You have done a wonderful job putting this site together.
It covers everyone and everything. I love the piece on
The Livin' End. I haven't thought of the Coachmen and the
Chevlles in years. Didn't we used to go to the Corral to
See them, before and after eating pink cookies at Mack's.

Mark, you have done an excellent job with the website. Thanks so much for your efforts. What a great walk down memory lane!! Just reading the names of each of the classmates conjured up fun memories. Hope to see everyone in April.

Mark,
Thanks for all your hard work and efforts in getting this site up and running. I'm so excited about it (haven't been excited in a long time !!) I was shocked to see that we have lost so many from our class. I have been trying to locate Freddie Allred (Charles Freddie Allred) for several years with no luck...this guy must not want to be found ! I've tried googling, facebook, myspace...nothing...has anyone heard from him or know his where abouts?
My email address is credicott@grandecom.net
My maiden name was Ballew -

Great website...loads of fun reading up on classmates. Willoughby, if you want some dirt - let's go back to some stories about Jennette Street and Peach Street - just down from Alta Vista Elementary. On second thought, I am not sure either of us wants to go there.

This web site is really fun. Haven't talked to very many people yet but I just found out about all this from my friend Eileen Clemenzi. Look forward to getting in touch with some lost friends.

Mark,
This website has really brought back some old memories and old friends. It has been such a delight to read up on everything and everybody. You have done such a great job in putting this all together. I know it is much appreciated by everyone. Thanks for all the hard work, time, and effort. I have gotten messages from people and have responded and it has been a blast. Thanks again! Mark-thanks for putting together this website. It's fun checking in and seeing what our old high school buddies are doing. The senior pictures on the profiles are great. Once again, thanks.

Jimmy McAden was always a better athlete than I was...anything we played...he played better than me...one day we decided to play baseball with a golf ball. Jimmy caught one of my pitches square in the wood of the bat....and sent the golf ball right into my forehead (at the eye)....up until that time I had been a better student than he was....but then was knocked silly with stitches...I still carry a scar in my eyebrows...which is the only thing I have anymore....eyebrows....that blow to the head is the reason I was the "Bottomdictorian" of our class.

Mr. Willoughby - I truly wish you had been a better athlete!! If you would have caught the "ball", I would be able to "sit" today. Yes, you know what my dad did to my rear end after we spent hours cleaning up Peach
Street (asphalt and blood do not mix real well!) Joe, that is one story that I will remember as long as I live. But, I am really glad that you brought up that story - probably the only one that we can repeat in this venue! Good to hear from you, "bottom" man.

Still looking for Charles Freddie Allred - class of 1967 - lost track of him in 1969...any one with information please contact me. Kathy Ballew

Mark,
I just have to tell you once again, what a great site this is. There is a lot to say for bonds among classmates. I left Abilene in '72. I have not seen or heard from classmates in 40 years and all of a sudden I am communicating with people I feel like I have known all of my life. When in fact, I looked at the pictures of the 40th reunion and didn't have a clue who was who. When I am writing to someone, I of course see them as they were at Cooper in 1967. I can't wait to see them again in Dallas.
For those of you, asking about my brothers, (I have 4, all attended Cooper, Joe Bob-1965 graduate, George, and Wayne, both 1966 graduates, and Leroy, attended in '68 & '69, but graduated in FL.) all live within a 5 mile radius of me in FL and are doing well.

Claire Kimbrough (Bowden)

We left Abilene after graduation, Mother got a good job in Dallas. It just broke my heart...Dallas was not home. LBJ (I635)was in the boondocks! DFW airport was being built and those guys had a good, long term job who worked out there! Volkswagen cars were not too cool. My 1962 Chevrolet got me through my first year in college.
I agree, you guys have done a very good job of putting this together.

Robin Looney (Poteet)

I am lovin' this website! I check it everyday just to see who has checked in. Thanks for setting this up, Mark! I agree with Eileen that the pictures really help. (I just discovered the little box to check to show the pics instead of just the list of names. I was spending a lot of time clicking on names and going back and forth...well, you know what I mean.) Anyway, it is great getting back in touch again. P.S. The music is terrific.

Mark, this is the best. It has been so much fun checking up on old friends and acquaintances. All of your stories are so interesting. Thanks to all who had a hand in this. Time well spent!

I find this web site very fascinating! Great job Mark! Joe, too. I wish more classmates would set their profiles up. WITH PHOTOS! I like to see the photos. That way I know that I am not the only one who got old. I would love to hear from anyone who remembers me.

Mark:

Great website. I finally used it a couple of weeks ago for the first time. Uploaded some photos (for grins). Right now I'm actually sitting in court "listening" to the lawyers read a deposition to the jury. Fortunately, they won't need a "judicial" ruling for at least 5 more minutes!

I see my brother, Charley-CHS '68, has signed up for his classes website. I'm lucky that all 3 brothers live in the Richmond/Sugar Land/Houston area.

Thanks again!

Thanks to everyone who attended the Friday, April 24 mixer at the Marriott Las Colinas. You all brought a lot of smiles to this old face!

Weekend reunion was well worth my while to travel from Utah to Texas. It was a blessing renewing old friendships and establishing new friendships. I'm sorry more of our group did not come and hopefully more will be able to make it to the next one. I don't think I can afford to come every year (unless I win the lottery!) but I will certainly make the effort to attend as many as possible and I encourage all to make the effort at least once. I will try to post pictures later. You guys are the best and after seeing all of you I have a new little sparkle in my eye. Hugs to you all! Deborah

P.S. A BIG THANK YOU to all who made this event possible!

Patrica Heasman (Berny)

Has anyone heard from Sindy Shelton or Karon Bliss, David Durham? I remember Perry Bently and Don Stromberg( sorry to hear of their passing) I was at Cooper for my sophomore and Junior years.. My father, being military, we moved 10 days before school started for my Senior year, and yes Steve Hoff, I remember you, too. Michigan is a long way from Texas and Cooper has far better memories then the one I graduated from in 1967. You will find me in the 1966 yearbook..Patrica Heasman..I live in Corpus Christi, Texas for the passed 35 years..I teach third grade. Anyone know the where abouts of those I mentioned you can contact me at CHEETI@aol.com.

Thanks, Claudia, for taking photos of the reunion. It was great to be able to view the website and see old friends. It looks like everyone had a great time.
